Product Care
To maintain the comfort and longevity of your sleepwear, we recommend following these Product Care instructions. This guide helps you to preserve the natural quality of our textured cotton while offering practical tips for everyday care.
Avoiding excess washing and heat damage should, not only, preserve your product, but also minimize the environment impact, by reducing water waste and energy usage. By being mindful about these care habits, you will ensure that you can enjoy the quality of our cotton slub sleepwear over time.
Cotton Slub Sleepwear
Our slub textured fabric is made in 100% cotton, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. It is lightweight, breathable, and has a unique white yarn knobbly effect.
We suggest to wash your cotton sleepwear once per week. Although you can machine wash your sleepwear up to 40°C, choose a low temperature for more frequent washes.
Use a mild detergent, and wash it with similar fabrics and colors. Use a low spin cycle, around 800 RPM, to reduce friction and help maintain the fabric’s original texture.
Avoid using harsh chemicals, and do not use bleach, as these can damage the natural fibers and the colors. After washing, remove your laundry as soon as the cycle is complete to prevent dampness and minimize creases.
While you can tumble dry your sleepwear on a low heat setting, line drying is the ideal choice, especially if you live in a climate with the adequate weather. Hanging your sleepwear to air dry will help preserve the fibers and increase product’s lifetime.
If you choose to air dry your sleepwear, shake out and gently stretch it to help your product return to its pre-wash shape. Stretching the product while still damp can help reduce the need for ironing.
When choosing to tumble dry, always opt for the lowest heat setting to avoid heat damage.
In case you need to iron your product, our cotton fabric allows medium setting. Whenever possible, iron the products while they are still dump or use steaming to efficiently remove creases.
When your sleepwear is not in use, we suggest allowing it to breathe by airing it out between wears.
For storage, keep your sleepwear in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, and preferably hanged or folded in a drawer instead of under a pillow.
